I've always had a heart for ministry. At the age of eight, I was already preaching to my pets, and managed to baptize two cats and a stray dog (and if you think baptizing a cat is easy, then you've obviously never tried it). That next year, after I turned nine, I figured my ministry needed to branch out to humans as well so I went door-to-door in my neighborhood, selling subscriptions to a magazine I created called, "The PMA Times." PMA stood for Positive Mental Attitude. Yeah, I was that kid—the one that made all the neighbors lock their doors, turn out their lights, and hide behind their furniture. I mean, seriously? Positive Mental Attitude Times? I was so weird! But, that hasn't changed much. I'm still pretty weird, and I'll do just about anything to reach a world that needs the miracle-working power of God.
I know first-hand what God can do with a person who is totally yielded to Him. I was once an overwhelmed mom living in a cluttered house, deep in debt, out of shape, and barely hanging on. But one day, after finding myself sobbing uncontrollably into a pile of laundry, I realized God had bigger and better plans for me (just like He does for each one of His children). Beginning that day, I began making changes in my life that took me from overwhelmed to overjoyed. Today, I'm helping moms do the same.
It's hard to believe that I went from that overwhelmed mom to running a worldwide ministry, but it just shows that with God all things are possible, if you're just crazy enough to believe it.
By the way, The PMA Times is no longer in circulation. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
