30-Day Power Purge: DAY TWENTY-FIVE

Have you ever been stuck with an ouchie that you can’t treat? Maybe your child scratched his knee and you don’t have a bandage. Or someone has the sniffles and you need to make a run to the store for cold medicine.

That’s why today in the 30-DAY POWER PURGE, we’re tackling emergencies head-on.

Today’s challenge is your first-aid supplies.

This means to go through all your meds and toss the ones that have expired and make sure you have a well-stocked kit. Take a look at the video for a great way to organize your first-aid and medical supplies.

Today’s extra credit is your “forgotten spots.”

Go through the past challenges and see if there are some loose ends you need to tie up, maybe a drawer you didn’t get to, or a “hot spot” you didn’t put out.

Today’s bonus is emergency prep.

Make sure you have an ample supply of batteries in stock, as well a working flashlights–one in each car, and at least two in the house where you can get to them quickly. Also, this is a good time to check all of your fire extinguishers (yes, they expire) and smoke alarms.

There you go….
