A Guide To Romance with Heidi St. John

“It is so important for us women to guard the holy covenant of marriage!”

Let’s talk about sex baby!

No, really.

Today, we’re talking about the S word. Now before you get super turned off by this, let me tell you: THIS IS NOT A COSMO ARTICLE. We are here to talk about the joy and beauty of intimacy and the God-given holy covenant of marriage! AH, what a beautiful thing…

You’ve GOT to know Heidi St. John! She is an incredible woman of faith and one of my dear friends.

Heidi and I got together a little while back and decided that more women need to hear some positive and biblical teachings on sex, romance, and marriage for the busy mom.

We are both SO done with cosmo’s top 6,813 sex moves and articles that tend to get women viewing themselves and sex differently than God designed.

Do you relate to any of the following statements?

  1. You want to have more of a sex drive! You really do! But you just can’t seem to get “there” as often as you would like.
  2. You used to be that girl! The one who couldn’t keep her hands of her new husband. You two were like little fire crackers at one point! But when you look back, you realize you’ve lost that and you miss “that girl.”
  3. You find yourself thinking about excuses to tell your hubby when he needs a little action. “Please, I am so tired.” “I don’t feel pretty!” “I’m just feeling out of it.”
  4. You want to lights OFF. You want to show your husband how much you love him and adore him but “PLEASE DON’T LOOK AT ME.”
  5. You can’t seem to remember the last hot/crazy night you had with your husband.

If any of these statement relate to you … Thank God, you are in the right place!

It’s time to stop being shamed by the magazine covers and the hot romances in your chick flicks.

This is the real world. Heidi and I are here to talk to you about sex, intimacy, and marriage in the real world!

Every mom knows the struggle of losing the heat after a few kids. Nowhere does it say that the heat has to be over!

[bctt tweet=”We live busy lives but Jesus is the core that pulls us together. ” via=”no”]

    Great interview with
    Heidi St. John.
We can’t expect our husband to meet all our needs. He is not equipped to do that. When we expect him to do that, we are PUSHING Jesus out of our lives.
God is the Only ONE that can Supply ALL our Need!
We are to TRUST In The LORD…He does Hear us and Answers Prayers when we are pray. He desires for us to enjoy His Benefits.
He Created Marriage and Sex and He wants us to be enjoying our times of intimacy.
    The conversation between
Heidi and Jay…that was so sweet and how God opened up her understanding of her husband and how he was communicating, that he missed her and wanted her back. Listen…probably all husbands feel that way or have felt that way about their wife.
That made me stop and think!
“God knows what He is doing. It’s All Good!”

So good! I needed this… I have 3 girls under the age of 5. A soon to be 4yr old, a just turned 2yr old and a 12week old! All girls! My poor husband and I have a good marriage but I know it could be better… I’m 30lbs over weight with no self esteem, totally burnt out on being mommy, maid, cook, etc. I miss the old me! I’m sad all the time cause I’m not happy with who I am. I have a relationship with Jesus but not enough hours in the day to spend with Him or in the word and sleep! I’m also an Emergency Room Nurse, full time. Always taking care of everyone and everything else and no time for myself. My husband is tired too and it’s not fair for me to take “me time.” Any advice Hannah Keeley? I miss watching your show on tv ( we don’t have cable anymore. Did I mention we are broke? So date nights aren’t really an option)
